I have a TREK 2100 Alpha SL frame and I need to know what year it is.?

Here is some information: It is candy apple red (I've seen some description as "Metal Flake Red" and it has grey or taupe decals. I think it's a 1999, but I can't be sure. The serial number is WTU A003181 R. Does anyone have more information for me? Is this a good frame?
