Why does a father have to have his son killed?

God did this to prove Satan a liar, and to forgive us of our sins. Jesus died a perfect man, did not give into temptation, and stayed faithful till the end. In a sense, he bought back what Adam had taken away. Adam was perfect, and he threw all that away and sin entered into the world. Jesus' death opened the way for all of us to gain life.
