Does the fact that AJ Styles is getting a push under Hogan discredit the claim that Hogan only pushes friends?

I think it kind of does. AJ is obviously a TNA original who Hogan is very high on. I don't understand the claim of Hogan only pushing his friends in TNA when he's pushing originals like Abyss and Styles, and also pushing younger guys like Anderson, DiNiro, and Desmond Wolfe. He's obviously not pushing JUST the older talent like Hall, Nash, and Pac. I think TNA right now is doing fine. It's got the perfect mix of veterans and younger upcoming talent, or talent in their prime right now. If AJ is getting a push, which NOONE believe would happen under Hogan, what does that tell you?
