Deciding to get a shiba inu..(: advice?

I'm a current Shiba owner and will be getting another in the near future. You may not want to hear that a Shiba is not good for a first time owner but it is true and a reputable breeder will most likely not sell to a first time dog owner. There is more than just research, there is the need to know how to handle dogs especially dominant ones. Please visit the national breed club website at www.shibas.org. They have plenty of information and you can meet with some reputable breeders and truly find out if the dog will be a good match for you.
