I just had the most embarrasing day of my life. Any advice?

Today, during chemistry, I was at the main table, filling a beaker. As I was doing this, my secret crush walked up next to me and started using the pipet next to me. She then placed her hand on top of mine on the table, intentional or not, I paniced. The next second, I looked at her, and I think she looked at me, but I couldn't tell. Why? My goggles had fogged up to no visibility. To add to that, I was so focused at looking at her, she had to say "hey, d----, your...hand.". Why did she say that? The last 15 seconds I hadn't noticed the overflowing beaker of 6 molar hydrochloric acid. AKA, burn like a f----r. I feel so embarrased, anything to make me feel better?
