Im pretty mechanically inclined.Is replacing all the solenoids in a 4T65E including the PCS someting I can do?

I had this rebuilt 2 years ago.Its doing the same thing again.Sometimes feels like it doesnt want to stay in a certain gear after it changes.Also after i had the fixed.It was still acting up until the guy figured out the m air flow sensor was bad.He replaced it with a used factory one,and it worked just fine.Could my problem be the m air flow again?
