This boy is confusing?

so there is this guy tht gos to the academy (which is a school for bad kids) but hes on our hs football team and me n my friend go to tlk to the boys aftr practice to wait for my big brothers varsity practice to end, anyways over the past month he has been very nice like giving me his coat to wear whn im cold and hugging me and puttin ghis arm around me and idk wht to do he does all of tht and has done nothing yet like asking me out or etc. so wht shld i do
